It has been a difficult few weeks. Time has slipped by due to responsibilities that beckoned and I’ve missed reading your words and writing mine. I have however, been writing short poetry and verses, sometimes rushed, as the words come to me. It is a wonderful way to release thoughts and emotions. Do you find that too?
Early on Tuesday morning I woke at dawn, feeling particularly relieved that excessively busy days may be behind me for a bit. Fog like an artist’s brush blurred the horizon line, painting the scene in restful grays and muted blues, as Will (my favourite willow) gently swayed, and these words came to me.
It is time for a divine conversation
We've been waiting for each other
I've been longing for you
Your words guide me to myself
The limbic pulse pounding in my ears
You speak in vibrations
I breathe in your essence
Glowing in golden glitter
And the world sparkles
As a bird's wing brushes my cheek
I feel your touch
What others call magic
I call, your love
I was filled with a sense of awe and wonder as I wrote. A divine connection granting me a golden moment. And when I raised my eyes to look outside again, the fog had cleared leaving a carpet of dewy grass as it’s legacy. The sun played peek-a-boo between broken clouds, glinting off drops that clung to the willow’s leaves, making them sparkle. It really looked like golden glitter.
I’d been waiting for this. Moments of peace bathed in golden light, shimmering down on me, leaving it’s magic.
I slipped outside to witness the magic up close. A bird made her presence known, gliding by me closely to rest on a willow branch, and it felt like the words I had written on my Notes app just a few minutes ago, were coming to life.
Thoughts and words as they say, become your reality. Your thoughts are energy and what you give your energy to manifests as matter. Which means that if you are excessively critical, negative in your thinking, fearful or anxious, it will continue to manifest for you as well.
… thoughts – just mere thoughts – are as powerful as electric batteries – as good for one as sunlight is, or as bad for one as poison.
Frances Hodgson-Burnett, The Secret Garden
I love that quote and wholeheartedly believe in it. Thoughts are energy. Words are energy. Emotions are energy. We are energy. Quantum Physics and the science behind neuroplasticity examines and confirms these concepts.
Though I didn’t need science to confirm the magic of the experience, I just needed to step out onto the dewy grass and feel that golden glitter in the air, a connection with the divine.
I tried to capture this precious moment for you, though it never shows up on video quite as it does in the lived experience. Still, I hope you find the magic in it.
And now, I will dissolve into some much needed quiet moments and catch up on your writing.
Thanks for being here! Tell me what magic you’ve noticed lately. What’s glittering in your life? Do you believe that thoughts are energy? Do you have divine conversations? Do you ever write poetry?
Lots of questions, I know. But I really want to know!

Thank you for sharing your golden moment with us, Alegria. What’s glittering in my life? The sun is glittering, as summer is here this week. I love sunshiny days. I agree with you that thoughts are powerful and help build the world we live in. Sharing those thoughts through writing and reading helps me make sense of life. I’ve written some poetry in sporadic scribbles, but not consistently or with a purpose other than to capture the words.

Thank you for your lovely message Rose and for sharing your thoughts. I too love sunny days and enjoying the lightness of these warmer spring days. Though rainy days have a coziness to them and I romanticize reading books in a comfy corner when I think of them. Poetry is a beautiful way to express ourselves, and release emotions, even if we’re just scribbling words. Perhaps you’ll write something for Jody.
Thank you for sharing Rose! 💕

Incredible words and video, Alegria. I love, “A divine connection granting me a golden moment.” Amazing how you captured it — and then shared. Because just as thoughts are energy, so are the connections we keep around us. Thanks for enveloping us in your beautiful thoughts!

Welcome back, dear Alegria. I have been thinking about you. I absolutely love this post, your “words made manifest”, and such sacred words they are. (I also really enjoyed your video.) Yes, I increasingly write poetry. I find it’s a stream of consciousness to which people really respond, as I did to your poem. 🙂 Sending you a hug and love. ~ Susan

Thank you for your love and beautiful energy dear Susan! I read your poetry and find it deep and beautiful. I too very much feel that it is stream of consciousness, like it comes from somewhere else. Love and hugs to you my dear friend. 💕🤗

There are times when life is just too busy, but I’m lucky- most days I can step outside and just breath and revel in the view, at some point. Usually late afternoon when the light on the water is exquisite. I am in awe of its beauty, but not really in touch with my maker.
I’ve never written poetry in the beautiful, natural way that you do, but sometimes I’ll twist my thoughts into a haiku. I wish you peace, Alegria, and much joy xx
